Pressing "shift and m" in 'top', gets you processes sorted by memory.

I dare say you could use "ps" and "sort" to get a ranking of processes
by swap space, but usually if it is enough memory to be an issue, it is
enough to be the biggest one or two processes by memory.

I forget the Linux way with virtual memory, the LDP exists for a reason.
