I've been using Halifax's online banking for ages (over a year), and never had a problem. It works for me whatever browser I use (using Mandrake out-of-the-box), Konqueror, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera...

HSBC works well too, except for their Business Banking which requires Window$ because it allows them to implement extra security (now there's a contradiction!!!), something to do with certificates???
