Last I heard they switched fabrication to IBM, back at the
450Mhz level, but these things change every few years, so could
have gone back, or even dual supplier again.

Hardware really doesn't do it for me, so I tend to learn enough
to know what I should be getting out of big server hardware, to
make sure if the client paid X bucks, they get an appropriate
amount of bang, for those bucks. As for my own PC, I really
ought to fiddle with hdparms more ;-)

One thing to be said for the back stabbing and big lawsuits in
the industry is you remember what it was about.
