Evolution supports both but it doesn't support SpamAssassin (neither does 
Mozilla) without amendments to postfix etc. KMail has a very nice 
'pipe-through' command in the filters and makes filtering spam simple. With 
other clients, I'd have to bounce emails through another internet address 
where SpamAssassin is already enabled - truly abysmal efficiency. 

(smaller reason)
For newbies and/or those who are still using Windows and OE, mime attached 
GnuPG/PGP without PGP installed, can leave the entire message blanked and 
mysterious attachments indicated. Inline doesn't cause any such wobblies.

I'm sticking with inline and KMail.
