Has anyone used or tried out Linux speach recognisition software? If
so any tips on the best one? Installing etc?

From memory, the IBM one, viavoice, I think, is available and rather
good.

I used IBM Via Voice that came with a Mandrake Pack (7.2 I think), it loaded ok and
it worked ok, don't know how it compares to other software, didn't use it for long,
so I can't tell you how well it can be tuned.

Hope this is of some help
