[LUG] Vfat & Samba

Hi there

Can anyone suggest what I should do?

I've added an existing drive to my RH7.2 system. It's formatted as FAT and
has existing files I want to keep (for now).

I've created /mnt/fatdrive/ and mounted sdc1 (the drive) to it. I can view
& write as root.

I want to make this drive avaialble as a public access drive (internally
for my network users) via Samba and have created a Linux group called
public_drive_users. I've setup the samba share and can view & read files
from a Win client but can't write.

RH won't let me change the access control for /mnt/fatdrive/

How can I add/edit the access control to allow public_drive_users full
read/write access?

TIA.

Mart
