[LUG] Redhat 7.3 install probs

Ok.....situation tense.

1. Have dual boot LILO...  Windows 98 on one hard disc, Redhat 6.1 on
other.

2. Redhat 6.1 is a mess........I'm a beginner and have made all sorts
of errors.........have decided to install 7.3 from scratch. ( Redhat
Linux 7.3 for Dummies )

3. Floppy drive won't work ( probably seized from lack of use)

4. Computer steadfastly refuses to boot from supplied cdrom......have
a feeling that time taken for cd drive to wind up makes BIOS think it
is dead. (CD is OK .....can be read by dos/windows).

I can get into 6.1 as root and into KDE............how do I set off
the auto install that will start installing 7.3 from scratch ??

Please go easy......I find Linux command line sparce and daunting to
say the least.
