Hi all
I have a quick question
I am intersted to find out if i can view my linux desktop (Gnome, RedHat
7.3) on my desktop machines 1 mac and 1 PC (Win98)

I have heard its possible cause im look at some sun Kit and it doesnt come
with monitors, i just run an X server on my PC or something

Yes, MicroX is one I believe. Not sure about any free or Free ones though.

Anyone had any experience with this, Easy to setup etc etc

Had an X server on a 98 connected to a linux box. You're big problem will be
setting up the sun's without a monitor.

Also bandwidth is an issue, I would like to be able to VPN in through my
512DSL and view my linux desktop??

Should be ok. Theres a zlib compressed version of VNC arround I think which
can work over modems.

Sounds a bit to good to be true????
