When the rain was on here in lefkas the power was going out regularly 2 or 3 times a day. We're on the coast too. A UPS would have been useful in a few cases - 2 minutes of non power (or even a big voltage drop), is cured by a ups, and saves a lot of grief.if you buy a computer in greece and run it without a UPS on any island, i'd bet it'll be toasted within a month ;p

Greek rain. urgh. reminds me of forest gump, where he is in vietnam, and the rain comes from up, down, left right, infront, and behind - all at once ;)
Was pretty bad for a few days last weekend, but its back up to 90F today. Any hotter and we'll be back up in the mountains to cool down.
first rain of the season is *nasty*. electic _always_ goes down :/ ~ Theo ps: you in greece atm? ;)
