GIven that 4% of the population are diabetic, and therefore may be expoected 
in due course to carry a meter... 4% of programmers will be diabetic, and 
also 4% of evil psychopathic black hat crackers with a grudge against society 
which might be applied against any system they saw as surveillance of them.

There are certainly (odd and probably incapable of programming) people who 
persistently lie unconvincingly about their use of testing and treatments, I 
don't know why since nobody else is going to suffer, and teh temptation to 
porgram a series of normal tests into their meter might well take over from 
the writing of pseudo random results in the normal range into a paper diary.
