[LUG] display of web site in different browsers

Hello everybody.

I have been building a site using frontpage.

aarghh !!! no don't stone me. ha ha !!

I'm slowly learning html and under windows the site displays fine in IE
from early versions to the latest, opera & netscape/mozilla.
Everything is placed how I intended.

The url if some of you guys wouldn't mind checking for me is at
www.smithfamily.1stnet.co.uk and it's also mirrored at
www.raysmith.eurobell.co.uk exactly the same.

Under amndrake 7.2 no matter what browser I try on the ego section the
picture which should display on the right of the text doesn't show at
all. Under netscape A broken picture icon displays where it should be
but konqueror show nothing. Mozilla doe'nt like it either.

On the deaf section with the 2 tables the gif graphics for H & J only
run through once instead of repeating. Otherwise they show reasonably
well except sometimes not all the pictures load & I have to keep hitting
refresh.

Under Suse 8 all browsers will display the site but konqueror still
won't display landsend.JPG. All the others will. The other browsers
display the site perfectly but only galeon and mozilla have the
animation on the gifs repeating even though in konqueror I have gif
animation set to repeat.

I know enough html to edit the code by hand to tidy it up slightly or is
it bugs in the browsers as some , i.e. Galeon display it properly ? or
is it because I have used frontpage ?

Ray
