Correct. Got one of those :-)

The only advantage that I can see of outputing to a text file is to make
life easier when using grep to find a keyword.

Yes, but its messy. I want to find the keyword directly from the screen
itself no by using a file. And I mean by having the system find the keyword,
not my having to *look* for it using scrolling :-)
