I love debian!

Me tooo!

i'm very pro debian too - its difficult/impossible to go back to RPM's after using the debian packaging system.

also - debian the organisation acts as a filter for software quality - packages are thoroughly tested under debian's control - so you know when you download an app it will generally be solid and reliable.

another thing to note - the previous replies were from steve and theo - and both use linux in business enviroments.

overall i'd say debian is a very clean distro - the installers may be better for mandrake/SUSE/RH - but once you know which module to use with which hardware device debian installs ok,

I also know that there is a crazy geek lurking somewhere on here who
knows his toy story characters apart....

Add an 'r' and thats probably me ;) We run debian on all our boxen here..

PS: anyone in Plymouth, was there a *huge* thunderstorm this morning/last night, or was I dreaming it ?
