[LUG] Leafnode on Mandrake 8.0

Does anyone on this user group use leafnode.  I am trying to set it up and 
experiencing problems. 
I have edited the following files:
/etc/leafnode/config
/etc/profile
/etc/xinetd
but still can't get it to work.  I am using leafnode 1.9.18 - 3 mdk.
