Subject: [suse-linux-uk-schools] linux in schools

hi
i am an ict curriculum support co-ordinator at st dunstan's community school in glastonbury uk

at home i run linux in different distributions to test its relaiblility and functionality

i am convinced of its potential to dominate the schools networking administration and curriculum delivery and support
whilst offering felixibilty and budget saving computer power

i am having serious problems convincing my colleagues that this is the case

i am so convinced of my conclusions i have just registered the domain http://www.linuxinschools.org

my hope is to track down and link any schools already using linux succesfully and to publish this information to help promote the use of linux in schools

this email is an appeal for anyone interested in helping me co-ordinate this information as well as to anyone who might have any stories good or bad about using linux in schools

please email me at the alias below
kind regards in advance
