Re: [LUG] Broadband....

Hi,
I personally use eclipse.
I am biased (since I use them) but I think that eclipse are great - I
regularly have uptimes of over three months.
With ADSL, it's really a question of how linux friendly an ISP is. If you
use linux, then you're not in general going to be an internet/computer
newbie. Therefore most questions you have will not be of the straight
forward kind. In this respect Eclipse are excellent, although they do not
have specific linux support officially, they will know what you are talking
about in your questions. They do know about the internet (as you'd expect)
and most important, they donot put you through to a call center when you
ring up with a question. All their customer service personel are also their
sales staff - so they know all about their products on offer. Their support
staff also always ring back when they say they will (at least in my
experience) which I find unusual nowadays, and they know what their are
talking about.
