are you any relation of my cousin (by marriage) who spent his life removing

For safety and seriousness, that is correct AFAIK.
I thought for a moment and formatted a partition as NTFS on my laptop, and
later thought maybe that was not ideal.  So all data goes on the FAT
partition.
