I think if you add ntfs to /etc/modules it will be automatically loaded
when the system boots. Likewise if you put an entry for /dev/hda2 in
/etc/fstab with the user and noauto options you can mount it on demand
with just "mount /mnt/disk" much as you'd mount a floppy or CDROM.
