[LUG] I broke my internet !!

Can anyone shed any light on this liddle problem !! I am trying to connect
to uklinux.net using redhat ppp dialer, it dials handshakes, sits there and
does the following in /var/log/messages !!!

Sep 12 02:05:50 linux kernel: PPP generic driver version 2.4.1
Sep 12 02:05:50 linux pppd[1128]: pppd 2.4.0 started by root, uid 0
Sep 12 02:05:50 linux pppd[1128]: Using interface ppp0
Sep 12 02:05:50 linux pppd[1128]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/ttyS1
Sep 12 02:05:50 linux su(pam_unix)[1149]: session opened for user root by
(uid=0)
Sep 12 02:05:50 linux su(pam_unix)[1149]: session closed for user root
Sep 12 02:06:20 linux pppd[1128]: LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests
Sep 12 02:06:20 linux pppd[1128]: Connection terminated.
Sep 12 02:06:20 linux pppd[1128]: Exit.

i have the username and password correct in the /etc/ppp/pap-secrets and
chap-secrets (just in case) in /etc/ppp/options i have just "lock" the DNS
servers are correct (got info from their site) and also the dialup numbers
are correct.

I have also tried a number of other ISP's which makes me think perhaps i am
missing something !!!

Ideas anyone ??
