RE: [LUG] PPP link prob




You could try seeing if you can connect to anything using IP address if you
think you've got an issue with name resolution (141.163.200.10 is where the
lug is hosted,  There's a car site at 212.67.197.72.

You can also see if your DNS configuration is working (assuming your link is
working) by using nslookup eg:

$ nslookup area51.termisoc.org
Server:  ns.worldonline.net
Address:  207.153.65.154

Name:    area51.termisoc.org
Address:  141.163.200.10
----

If that fails, you sould be able to see where the connection is failing
using traceroute (eg /usr/sbin/traceroute 141.163.200.10)
