I'm right in thinking you later found the Debian for DELL disk, that
~ has all the Debian drivers for DELL RAID, and gigabit ethernet
since then. Makes the install somewhat simpler ;)

Sadie might find the same disk works fine if the RAID module is not
loaded automatically on the vanilla Debian installation images.
