It's quite recent and I learned a little about it at OLS but not much than that it will do what we were discussing for reasons discussed.
Actually that was on my list of things to play with for one of my upcoming columns in Linux User & Developer. I have agreed to write a kernel hacking series which we have been talking about for a while and am on the lookout for suggestions of quick hacks to discuss.
