Please explain, I use KMail with 6 accounts, some POP, some IMAP, some local mailbox, multiple mailing lists and personal email. It also handles mailing lists properly, unlike Mozilla Mail / Thunderbird. Multiple people represented in one mail account is a job for filters which KMail does very well. Like any system of filters, you MUST expect to do some work in the initial config.
