I have had a similar result with OO, click the icon and it takes forever
to load... mine however, was loading.

My findings were that a file called pspfontcache in the users home
directory (in the OO setup stuff) was being appended to as opposed to
overwritten each time it was accessed.. this made for a 45Mb file to
load to ram... so solution...

ln -fs /dev/null ~/.openoffice/user/psprint/pspfontcache

Was simple.. but worked...
