[LUG] Python Courses in the UK

Anyone know of any decent Python courses on anywhere in the country?

Only one I can find is this -
http://www.livewires.org.uk/python/

- which is intended for kids. Oh the humiliation.

I usually try to learn things by self-tuition but with programming I've
always had trouble. Just being able to go somewhere to learn it may help.

Last time I tried programming the furthest I got was Amos on the Amiga
(Stos was the Atari ST equiv.). But since then I've been using Gentoo I
can see that it's probably worth another crack.

Programming is basically my limit with computers, everything else isn't a
problem, but if I mention that fact that I can't program most people
scoff. I'm hoping I'm mistaken and am actually capable of learning.
Probably the reason I never got very far is that I can't be bothered. It
takes a lot of time to produce anything useful. I'm hoping that with the
advent of linux, shared libaries and python, that nowadays things are a
lot more rewarding.

Many thanks.
