Guessing, but looks like you have "paul sutton" entered where you should
have your email address.

It is complaining as a space isn't allowed in an email address.

Sounds like you need to go into identities, and check what is set in the
current one.

Oh my new job has me using "Kmail" in anger, and I'm getting to really
like it, although it isn't using any of the GNU Privacy Guard stuff
routinely like I do in Mozilla (and Kmail) at home.

Redhat on the other hand...
