There isn't anything wrong with PRINCE2 in itself - its that people use it
a) instead of thinking or b) don't get it or c) are just plain stupid

There are some very good journals and project management organisations and
they use PRINCE as needed (i.e. take what they need), and in large
organisations it can help combat beaurocracy as about 50% of project
management is usually dealing with politics rather than technical issues.

I think many large companies and public bodies could take a half page of
A4 and turn it into enough beaurocracy to stifle work..
