[LUG] Java Applets etc

Newbie here.......I've got RedHat9 installed and running and even an
internet connection going.truely amazing for me.

Puzzled by Linux downloading concept though.  I find a web site that
requires me to have a Java Plug in.........Thinking Windows I go to Java
Site try to download appropriate Java Applet ( for Linux) thinking it
will automatically install and tuck itself away.  Not so.
What do I need to do..........help files seem to cover everything in
huge detail and I'm lost .
