[LUG] I'm back :-)

After some wrestling with majordomo, I've managed to reinstate my list
subscription 8-)

Are there any 'sed' wizards out there? It all looks very powerful but a bit
complicated for my poor brain ;-) All I want to do is take a file that I've
"spidered" from the 'Net and take the 'variable' bit off the name (ie. chop
off everything after the ? symbol).

Can anybody help me?

Cheers,

Jon
