"lsmod" does indeed list the "8139too" module as being loaded and being used by "mii". Additionally, "yenta_socket" is loaded. So I have to recompile my kernel? Yikes, that sounds scary! How do I go about that, armed only with a pen, a peice of paper, a laptop, a desktop with a (modem) internet connection, a Debian 3.0 CD1 and some string?
