[LUG] Archive and irc

1.What is the possibility of having the archive of messages on a cdrom to
give to members perhaps at meetings, etc, it may be useful incase we have a
meet with no internet access, anyone with access to a computer can then
access the archive etc

Also one of my contacts is in Portsmouth at Uni and I checked out the local
lug for him on the hants site, they have a list of users, and irc nick
names,  in a simple table format, perhaps we could have something similar,
and then get  together on irc occasionally.

there seems to be a dedicated irc server for this
