I was actually quite looking forward to a meeting I might be able to get to. I can see the value of a Devon & Cornwall group, but maybe there'd be more participation if we had some more local infrastructure. Or is it time for Cornwall to declare UDI? The problem with all D&C bodies is that they generally end up being totally dominated by Devon. If this is really the Exeter and District LUG be honestq and say so. It's time to drop a hint on this whole area - the dclug website members area contains a Register that can help in this area. If more people ask for passwords (to protect privacy and stop all and sundry on the www knowing your address) these sorts of queries can be easily sorted on the website. (I can improve the Register to allow easier matching of localities if requested.) All list members can get a password on request. - -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.codehelp.co.uk/ http://www.dclug.org.uk/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE94pR6k7DVr6iX/QIRAq8eAJ94HXBz2815kR+VZXJQyDIEWJyItQCeNU/Q ly8Utv6kN2DYn4+iGQQi54c= =oPK4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
