Re: [LUG] DNS delegation.

Erm, Ok I think I had the wrong end of the stick - added to some
different resolution issues and a registrar talking poo at me.

Heres one for the DNS gurus among you...

I've got a namserver thats been working fine hosting 50 odd domains for
ages.

We've just had another domain transfered to us which is registered with
opensrs and it's being problemtatic because apparantly we're not a
registered nameserver (get the full whois data for aaaargh.org from
whois.opensrs.net for the symptopms)

As such the nameserver address isn't being associated with an IP address
in the domain delegation. I'm *guessing* this is something to do with
dns1.a-squared.co.uk not having glue records in the a-squared.co.uk zone
delegation, but I'm about to go home and get my copy of the ORA Dns & Bind
book to see if thats any help.

Alex.
