Yes no problem I have a elsa gforce2 mx works very well, plays quake III and 
RTCW like a dream, gives me 70 fps in q3 at 1152 x864 32bit everything on 
high.

download recent rpm for suse 7.1( your version)  and put a link in the q3 & 
RTCW directories /usr/local/games/quake3... to libGL.so. that points to 

/usr/lib/GL/libGL.so.1.0.2313.nv_glx
