Similarly, I am an Opera user (free version) and on Saturday I was
messing about on everything2 and the advert in the top right kept
offering me salient points about XP...

Here's one that keeps bothering me then:

Anyone have a stab at why this line:

#include <gtk/gtk.h>

results in a 'header file does not exist' error (GCC)?

I think I have asked someone this before - it's nowt obvious.

1.  Yeah, I have gtk+-devel installed.
2.  Yeah, I can 'locate gtk.h'
3. I thought I had better RTFM so I bought Sams Teach Yourself C
for Linux (actually quite a good general C manual) and my setup and
syntax are concurrent with the recommendations of the author.

Hmm.  MB
