Re: [LUG] Useful IT courses

Not doing any work today...

Re: courses and ILAs etc., a couple of months ago I was engaged in
an email conversation with LinuxIT in Bristol (closest company that
runs Red Hat Certified Engineer course) Summary:

Me: How much is this course then?
LI: Four thousand pounds.
Me: Four grand - you've got to be joking - I could do a Masters for
that! What is the syllabus?
LI: Check the website for details.
Me: Hmm - is there any way you could make it any cheaper?
LI: Potentially, yes. If you were to supply an equipped IT lab,
premises, and approx twenty candidates... (mentioned sums circa two
hundred quid)
Me: I'll ask around....

-at which point their sales chap lost interest in me - thought I'd
mention it anyway. Useful course? Has to be better that MCSE.
No idea if you could pay for it with an ILA - possibly as it is
career development(?) Can we get a lab (at either Uni) and nineteen
other interested candidates?

Still can't do these cursor keys. Hmm.
