And how is it to know how to divide the files up?

Just write a script.... Unless this is for backup, when I'm sure
there are other tools, but be careful of creating/using a system
where you need every volume correct for recovery.

Maybe "cmp" for the ISO against the CD?!

Maybe "diff" for comparing the files against the originals if your
truely paranoid?
