Re: [LUG] Default Session on Fedora 2

I replied but "mind in neutral" sent the reply to him not the group. (Sorry
Tom).

Railway, has moved upstairs and benchwork built. I was having problems with
the Java comms both getting them and getting them to work. I overcame the
first problem by finding a copy on a old floppy! The second was more of a
problem. As you all know if one downloads and extracts SDK it sits in a
subdirectory under usr/java, However there is also a subdirectory under SDK.
jre which has the same structure (more or less) as the SDK. I was puting the
comms bits into the SDK part, and it was not working. I copied them to the
jre parts and the interface is running. I can drive trains and programme the
decoders from my computer. Next bit is throwing switches and building a
pannel in software.

Still not getting anywhere with default session. I know it should be simple,
but I begin to feel it is, like SWAT, just not there. (I have dug about in
add/remove applications to no avail).

Thanks for the interest

Peter
