Done, such as they are.

| I need to get back to my linux install, I have one computer with
| slackware 10, One laptop with suse 9.1 running very slowly, and
| my desktop runs 9.1 very well.

| I also look forward to getting my copy of the suse 9.1
| development kit, (or whatever it's called). Not sure where I
| will put it though.

Satuday is definitely focused on Debian, expect a long stream of
Debian this and Debian that....

I finished the Debian GNU/Hurd K7 install to discover that my
network card wasn't supported (no great surprise given the
hardware), I think I'll try simpler older hardware see if I can
build a fuller system, but running out of time before Saturday.

I even got to put my knowledge of "ed" to good use in writing the
menu.lst file, somehow I just know Matt won't like "ed" - think "vi"
without the fancy fullscreen editting mode. And I thought I'd only
ever use ed again in batch....

Who is bringing the lastest Ubuntu beta?

Who is bringing the latest Knoppix?

We have one machine with a CD burner but it may be kind of busy, so
if anyone else is bringing one along let me know - laptop CD burner
would be most convenient I guess.

Can anyone actually say anything useful about microkernels/HURD ? Or
if I get it working should I leave it in the corner for people to
poke at ;)
