Lindows - oh you mean Linspire, keep up ;)

Debian free has penggy which this program calls - but I'm not sure why
anyone would want it.

It would appear to be GPL'ed and copyright Linspire, although they don't
include the GPL in the source tarball. But I'm judging by the source
code for the About dialog - which might not be complete.

I see no reason it couldn't go in Debian free except perhaps AOL
copyright/trademark issues.
