Re: [LUG] gpg - revoking a userid

It seems the problem is related to www.keyserver.net. It appears that other
keyservers handle the revocation signature for the UID correctly but
keyserver.net doesn't. If i import the key from other keyservers it is ok but
keyserver.net appears to be broken?

Hi all, (this might be one for NeilW)

Is it possible to revoke a userid on a gpg key, i would like to revoke my
unused (work) UID. I can do this locally, and it shows up in gpg command
line and kgpg, but this info never ends up on a keyserver. So if i then re
import the key into an empty gpg keyring both UIDs are present and fully
functional. I have clearly missed a step or a concept here.

What started this off is www.keyserver.net is listing my (work) UID as my
primary UID so it shows the wrong (work) email address, gpg shows my
propper (home) email address as primary (which is what should happen). Am i
in trouble here?

Thanks
