I have recently installed Fedora Core 1, its seems to be stable. I had 
to download IceWM since it wasn't included in the Fedora Core 1 RPMs 
that were on Linux Format DVD 49, but I guess most people use KDE or 
Gnome so this may not be an issue.

Fedora Core 2 was released earlier this week.
