[LUG] Redhat 8.0 and 64 bit lseek

I must be getting old.

I'm trying to wean myself off of NT, which gets used a lot around here because
it's a nice programming environment. And I know RedHat 8.0 does big files
because I can write them, but I can't for the life of me come up with a
combination of C compiler options that doesn't result in the redefinition of
off64_t as off_t and have lseek return 32 bits. Which isn't enough.

Anyone done this successfully ?
