Subject: [LUG] c printf question

Ok,

I've got the following in a c program...
sprintf (Temp, "%s-[%*s]->%s", Connection->x25.LocalDTE, Done->xi_len,
Done->xi_buf, Connection->x25.RemoteDTE) ;

What does the %*s mean?

Man does not seem that helpful and have you tried googling for %*s :-)

You need only two tools. o /////
A hammer and duct tape. If it    /@   `\  /) ~
doesn't move and it should use  >  (O)  X<  ~  Fish!!
the hammer. If it moves and `\___/' \) ~
shouldn't, use the tape.           \\\
