ComputerWeekly article http://tinyurl.com/b8lz cost of email reduced to £8 per user per year. SuSE were consulants on the project. It doesn't provide calendars and "advanced features" such as Exchange or Notes do, but OTOH locally the Acute Trust and other bits of the health service have sufficient and sufficiently prolonged periods of downtime in the Exchange/Outlook system they use AFAIK _only_ for email that vry few people are dumb enough to contemplate putting their diaries on it. Indeed, when it was rolled out a few people did start trying to use the Outlook Calendar and share it, and were asked not to, since the system was not specced for actual use of that. -- From one of the Linux desktops of Dr Adrian Midgley http://www.defoam.net/ -- The Mailing List for the Devon & Cornwall LUG Mail majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxx with "unsubscribe list" in the message body to unsubscribe.
