Hmm. It was something I was actually considering. I use WML in another site 
but whether WML is going to be left behind as mobiles move towards higher 
bandwidth and whether it's worth doing - don't know. Certainly if l8r is 
going to be one of many, many abbreviations used in emails from mobiles, it 
may not be such a useful feature - for technical issues as well as 
readability.
