I found however that while I have a fully functioning java installation I still could not see the animations - until I told my browser to lie to your website and describe itself as Internet Explorer 6 then, hey presto - instant animation! Normally my browser would describe itself as "Konqueror/3.1" somewhere in the user-agent string. While older versions of this browser might not have been very happy with your weather animations, this one is more than happy with them - please update your site policies accordingly.
