Morning OK, so I can play midi file. Not with perfect consistency of instruments, but mostly fine. Next, it's composition time. I'm using perl with the Midi module. I'm guessing that, unless I totally get things wrong, it's normally the player fault if it dowsn't sound right. Can anyone give me some pointers as to where I should be going with this? What do you use to play midi files, did you do some exciting config? Did you download a bunch of extra stuff?
