Hi
I have set the suid bit on pppd on 8.1 and when running kppp it dials and dies with the following message
An error was detected in processing the options given, such as two mutually exclusive options being used.
I have tried shutting down kinternet and trying but that makes no difference, can any one help I have tried looking at kppp handbook and a few faq's on the site sugggested but can't seem to pinpoint the problem someone on #linux suggested line noise, which makes linux very sensitive to this, as it works under windows and under 8.0
any help apreciated
Paul
