I have got Samba configured on a domain (LINUX) host(MOBIUS) On my Win 2K boxes I can see this domain and when I enter it I can see Mobius. But when I try to connect It asks me for user name and Password. I have tried a couple of Linux Users and a old Windows Login ( Not that I expected it to work). But I can not gain access.
Have you set up the username and password on the samba box using smbpasswd (Or was it smbuser?) Also what version of Samba you using?
